Low Carb Diets

photo (18)Fortunately for me, South East Asian Heart Centre did a random test when I was not quite 30 and told me I could be prone to diabetes if I didn’t keep an eye on the insulin resistance which had spiked. I have since been on a fairly low carb diet and that has caused my insulin resistance to come back to normal levels. I have chosen to go with quinoa and colored rice in place of white rice in smaller quantities and that has made a difference.
